Our client is a $50B, award-winning global asset management firm seeking to add a Senior Fund Accountant to its growing accounting and finance organization. This is a highly visible role that sits at the intersection of fund accounting, financial reporting, valuations, and investment operations, with direct exposure to portfolio managers and senior leadership. The Senior Fund Accountant will oversee a diverse set of domestic and international investment vehicles, partnering closely with third-party administrators, reviewing the financial reporting package, creating marketing materials, and working closely with the PMs. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day fund accounting for a portfolio of domestic and global funds, including NAV oversight, capital activity, and period-end close processes Review and challenge third-party administrator deliverables, including NAV packages, financial statements, trial balances, and investor reporting Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and applicable regulatory standards Partner closely with portfolio managers and investment teams to support fund performance analysis, capital activity, and investment-level reporting Assist in the preparation of marketing and investor materials, including performance reporting, fund fact sheets, and ad-hoc investor analytics Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external service providers across tax, audit, legal, and compliance functions Support new fund launches, restructurings, and liquidations, including setup, documentation, and operational readiness Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of experience in fund accounting, asset management, or public accounting with investment management clients Strong understanding of fund accounting concepts, NAVs, capital activity, and financial reporting Experience working with third-party fund administrators and reviewing administrator-prepared reporting packages Advanced Excel skills; experience with fund accounting systems a plus CPA or CPA-track preferred (but not required) Strong communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally with investment teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
