Registered Dental Assistant: North Georgia
Registered Dental Assistants assist the dentist chairside with a variety of procedures for pediatric patients including extractions, fillings, pulpotomies and crowns
Assistants may also perform coronal polishing and place sealants. A detailed record of each visit is documented and any future treatment needed is planned. Dental assistants must establish a rapport with patients and parents, ensuring a positive dental experience. Assistants must educate patients and parents of good oral hygiene techniques and maintain daily schedules to ensure workflow efficiency and patient flow. This role may require working in multiple locations, so flexibility is a plus.
High school diploma, GED equivalency, Registered Dental Assisting License
Skills:
Radiology, nitrous monitoring, coronal polishing and sealant certifications are preferred. If you do not current possess all certifications, we will make a plan to help you obtain those upon hire.
Bilingual in Spanish a plus
Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret doctor instruction as well as follow detailed instructions
Must possess a positive attitude and ability to work well with others
Previous dental experience is preferred but not required
