With the ability to OTA SW to more Vehicles, EE&S has the opportunity to save the Ford Motor corporation millions annually. With this increased opportunity we are more focused than ever to streamline our FSA SW delivery capabilities. In this role you'll play a key role in helping to deliver a step-function change in our SW deployment timing. • Manage and direct FSAPM Jira activities to ensure robust service timing plans as well and minimize Jira hygiene errors/concerns.
  • Function as the leader and subject matter expert for EE&S Global FSAs. Coordinate activities and drive improvements to achieve KPIs.
  • Remove Barriers: Lead best practices, and the development of solutions for throughput constraints.
  • Work cross-functionally with DnR's, Plant Vehicle Teams, Ford Customer Service Division, OTA Operations, and Suppliers.
  • Develop relevant KPIs and data visualizations to enable a clear, real-time understanding of actual vs. expected SW quality and process performance.

Qualifications

You'll have...

  • 5+ years of product management expertise with a solid foundation in agile software development
  • Experience with Jira and KANBAN dashboard development

  • Ability to manage complex integrations and dependencies across various products, product lines, and product groups
  • Proven leadership skills in people management, team building, and coaching, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to identify innovative solutions
  • Even better, you may have...

    • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
    • Experience with Software Engineering tools and practices such as Jira
    • Familiarity with emerging technologies such as Large Language Models
    • Experience in the automotive industry or related technology fields
