About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operations and Public Safety Officer to provide strategic leadership and management for all airport operations and public safety services. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a high-performance, customer service-oriented work environment that aligns with the company's strategic priorities. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of division goals, objectives, and priorities, as well as ensuring the safety, security, and efficiency of operations. The Chief Operations and Public Safety Officer will also be involved in long-range planning, budget development, and will be expected to champion continuous improvement and innovation in airport and public safety operations. Applicants for the Chief Operations and Public Safety Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 10 years of experience in commercial airport operations and/or public safety leadership, with a focus on people management. The role requires a deep understanding of organizational and business management principles, as well as knowledge of aviation finance, and the ability to lead and motivate a team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic planning, decision-making, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders. Essential skills include the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and to exercise sound judgment in a dynamic and complex environment.
