This role ensures the program operates efficiently, professionally, and in full compliance with NCAA, Conference, and University regulations. The position plays a critical role in supporting competitive success by enabling coaches to focus on athlete development, recruiting strategy, and leadershipThis position is based on campus at the University of Washington and requires the ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel extensively with the team.**Key Responsibilities**This position manages student employees, team managers, and hourly operational staff.* Program Operations & Scheduling (15%)* Budget Management & Office Systems (10%)* Staff Management (10%)* Recruiting Operations & Compliance (10%)* Team Travel & Logistics (15%)* Game Day & Event Management (10%)* Alumni, Donor & Community Engagement (5%)* Video Operations, Technology & Data (5%)* Student-Athlete Support (5%)* Nutrition, Meals & Wellness Logistics (5%)* Marketing, Ticketing & Camps (10%)**Required Qualifications**To be considered for this opportunity your application must demonstrate you meet both the minimum qualifications and additional qualifications listed below. Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.**Minimum Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree* Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in collegiate or professional athletics, or as a former student-athlete**Additional Qualifications*** Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to work with technology and video systems* Strong organizational, communication, and professional writing skills* Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel extensively* Experience coordinating logistics, events, or operations in a fast-paced environment* Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with attention to detail* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments**Preferred Qualifications*** Master’s degree* Experience with video production, graphic design, or digital content creation* Experience with NCAA compliance and recruiting processes* Demonstrated ability to manage complex operational systems**Working Conditions*** Requires frequent evening and weekend work* Requires travel for competitions and recruiting activities* Work is performed in both office and athletic facility environments* Ability to lift and transport equipment as needed for events and travel coordination**About the Team**Washington Athletics is committed to developing champions in competition and in the classroom, grounded in values of growth mindset, committed service, humility, and grit.
