We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our fast-paced practice. The ideal candidate will have prior dental assisting experience, be proficient with dental software, and possess strong communication skills. This role supports our dentists during procedures, manages patient care, and helps maintain the smooth operation of our office. Assist dentists chairside during dental procedures with efficiency and professionalism
Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment areas
Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to radiation safety protocols
Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming dental models
Provide oral hygiene education and post-operative care instructions to patients
Maintain accurate patient charts and document treatment notes clearly
Schedule appointments and help manage the dental office calendar
Assist with basic dental receptionist duties, including patient check-in/check-out
Use dental software systems like Open Dental to document and maintain records
Support infection control and disinfection procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment

Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years)
Infection Control License
Open Dental
X-ray / Radiography Certification
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical dental setting (not entry-level)
Proficiency with dental software systems, preferably Open Dental or similar
Ability to take dental X-rays complying with safety standards
Knowledge of dental sterilization and infection control protocols
Basic understanding of vital signs monitoring and medical coding
Experience with CAD/CAM technology is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
EFDA certification or willingness to train for EFDA certification
Experience with dental receptionist tasks and patient scheduling
Familiarity with dental laboratory procedures
Knowledge of health education and patient counseling techniques

Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
