Buena Vida Dental Studio is seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team three days a week. This role is responsible for providing top-notch preventive and therapeutic dental care, comprehensive patient screening, and critical assistance during dental exams. The ideal candidate is licensed, experienced, friendly, and outgoing, with a commitment to creating a comfortable and fantastic dental experience for every client.

Patient Care and Comfort: Welcome patients, ensure their comfort in the treatment area, and discuss the dental care plan while answering any questions they may have.
Assessment and Screening: Take vital signs, accurately record medical histories, perform preliminary exams, collect oral health histories, and evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection.
Clinical Procedures: Perform dental hygiene procedures, including removing plaque and applying fluoride treatments.
Diagnostics and Prep: Take necessary X-rays and digital scans; prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures.
Education and Counseling: Teach patients good oral hygiene techniques and discuss the importance of their dental care plan.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, office policies, and maintain a strong understanding of HIPAA regulations.
Licensure: Current and valid Dental Hygienist licensure.
Education: Associate's Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
Experience: At least one (1) to two (2) years of experience in dental hygiene.
Compliance: Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines.
Physical: Able to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, customer service skills, and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree.
