Oklahoma City, OK Director of Business Development SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to best address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. We're currently seeking a Director of Business Development to join our collaborative leadership team. The DBD serves as a mentor to the admissions team and plays a key role in developing and growing their staff. This is a great opportunity for a strong leader who has a passion for rehab and is skilled at building and nurturing long-lasting relationships within their local community. What a Director Of Business Development Does You will be a champion of The Select Medical Way, which includes: putting the patient first, helping to improve quality of life for the community in which you live and work, developing and exploring new ideas, providing high-quality care, and doing well by doing what is right. A Day in the Life Directors of Business Development lead business development and admissions efforts for hospitals. You will oversee a team of Clinical Liaisons and Admissions Coordinators in developing and nurturing professional relationships with physicians, discharge planners, payers, and other clinicians in acute care hospitals. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the team in the field, focusing on relationship-building with hospital leaders. Remove obstacles and enhance team training and development. Work with hospital directors and CEOs to strategize admissions and streamline processes. Develop effective messaging and utilize data to guide best practices. Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred). Clinical experience as a Registered Nurse or Rehab Therapist (strongly preferred) Five or more years of experience in healthcare sales and marketing (inpatient services marketing in the local market is strongly preferred) Three or more years of team management experience. Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and regulatory standards. Strong interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills. Proven success in relationship development #J-18808-Ljbffr
