Participate in the hospital’s Radiation Safety Committee (RSC) by preparing materials, tracking program metrics, and supporting follow-up actions. Assist with personnel dosimetry program oversight, including badge distribution, wear compliance, exposure investigations, and ALARA reviews. Contribute to policy development and review, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and hospital operations. Provide ongoing radiation safety education and training for physicians, technologists, nurses, and ancillary staff. Support radiation incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation. Assist in quality assurance activities for radiation-producing devices (e.g., fluoroscopy units, CT scanners) as delegated by supervising physicists. What You’ll Need Strong understanding of health physics, radiation protection principles, and hospital regulatory requirements. Experience in hospital radiation safety, nuclear medicine, medical imaging, or related fields preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary hospital teams, including physicians, technologists, nursing staff, and administrators.
