About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Behavioral Health to provide executive leadership for its Behavioral Health Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting strategic and programmatic priorities, managing the program's budget, and securing external funding. This role requires a dynamic and forward-thinking leader with a strong background in behavioral health, public health, policy, or a related field, and a minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in administering complex behavioral health or public mental health programs. Expertise in areas such as systems of care, Medicaid and managed care, workforce development, suicide prevention, crisis systems, integrated care, and federal engagement is essential. The VPBH will lead a team of approximately 25 professionals and will be a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to the organization's overall strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in mentoring staff, and be adept at fostering innovation, cooperation, and resource sharing. A doctorate is preferred, and the role demands a leader who is committed to improving lives through sound public policy and is capable of guiding the program in a manner that is in line with the values and mission of the organization.
