Hospital-based CT Scan department Night shift schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM (12-hour shifts) 36 hours per week, 3 days per week 20-week contract No on-call required Holiday coverage required on every other holiday (EOH) EMR system is Epic; PACS and IMPAX service tools also used Siemens CT scanner experience highly preferred Requirements ARRT registration required, or registry eligibility with proof of diploma from an accredited Radiological Science program; candidates must obtain full registration within one year Advanced certification in CT required Current BLS certification (AHA) Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science Proficiency with CT imaging skills including multi-planar reconstruction, 3D reconstruction, CT algorithms, and window/level setting Experience with IV contrast administration, oral contrast administration, IV line establishment, and contrast eligibility determination Proficiency with PACS navigation, IMPAX service tools, and Epic EMR License required if applicable Additional Information Perform CT scans per protocol, including image acquisition, manipulation, multi-planar and 3D reconstruction, and appropriate window/level selection Administer oral and IV contrast to adult and pediatric patients per protocol, verify contrast eligibility, and check relevant lab values prior to injection Manage image transfer and verification across PACS, Epic, and QC station; ensure charge accuracy and demographic information integrity Maintain workflow efficiency, review patient charts and reports for correlation, and uphold a clean and organized work environment Responsible for incident documentation and precepting new employees and students Background check and drug screen are required prior to start; candidates should be prepared to complete drug screening promptly upon commitment American Traveler Job ID #P-727913.
