Overview Husch Blackwell LLP is a national law firm with multiple locations across the United States, dedicated to our clients and the industries they serve. We have an immediate opening in our Minneapolis office for a Civil Litigation Associate with five to eight years of experience preferred. Responsibilities Handle all phases of litigation in the mass tort space: conducting factual investigations, managing discovery, preparing pleadings and motions. Take and defend depositions, and communicate with clients. Generally manage cases with a high degree of autonomy. Work primarily with attorneys in our Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit. Qualifications Five to eight years of litigation experience in the mass tort arena. Active Minnesota bar license or a commitment to obtain one as soon as possible. Preferred additional bar licensure in California, Florida, or Texas. Excellent academic credentials and a proven record of working well under pressure. Exceptional judgment, the ability to handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Proactive, dynamic, and entrepreneurial individuals with varied backgrounds and interests for a diverse candidate pool. Benefits We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and more. The compensation range for this position is $230,000 to $270,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Associates are eligible for an Associate Performance Bonus and Client Development Bonus.
