Duties: - Greet and check-in patients upon arrival - Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries - Collect and update patient information in Eaglesoft - Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations - Assist with medical billing and coding tasks - Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed - Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations Requirements: - Proficiency in dental terminology and understanding of medical office procedures - Experience with electronic health record systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Eaglesoft - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail - Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes - Familiarity with Eaglesoft Note: Previous experience with dental front desk and Patterson Eaglesoft is essential.
