Key Responsibilities of a Part-Time Dental Hygienist:
-Deliver gentle yet thorough dental cleanings and periodontal scaling to ensure sparkling smiles.
-Skillfully capture and analyze dental X-rays to aid in precise diagnostics.
-Inspire healthier habits by educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
-Protect and strengthen smiles with fluoride treatments and sealant applications.
-Be the first to spot concerns by assessing oral health and identifying potential issues.
-Keep everything on track by maintaining accurate records and logging treatments.
-Ensure a safe, pristine environment through meticulous instrument sterilization and workspace organization.
-Be a trusted team player by supporting the dentist during various procedures.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Dentrix
Experienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years)
Licensed dental hygienist
-Active state Oregon dental hygienist license
-Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental practice
-CPR certification
-Proficiency with Dentrix dental software and electronic records
-Familiarity with infection control procedures (OSHA compliance)
-Certification in nitrous oxide sedation (preferred)
-Strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology
-Knowledge of dental insurance coding (e.g., CDT codes)
-Ability to maintain accurate and thorough patient records
-Fluency in English
Other Dental Software
X-ray / Radiography Certification
-Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
-Experience with advanced dental procedures
-Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental software
-Certification in radiography preferred
-Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
-Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
-Experience with digital X-rays and intraoral cameras
-Experience with patient scheduling and insurance verification
-Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations
-Proficiency in taking dental impressions
-Experience in orthodontics or periodontics is a bonus
-Strong organizational and multitasking skills
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
