Description The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM) to lead complex cloud solution projects, combining technical expertise with strong project leadership skills to drive successful AWS-based implementations. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage complex cloud migration and implementation projects. Leverage comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning. Bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes. Distill customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes. Decompose complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions. Contribute to technical documentation and define documentation standards. Basic Qualifications 8+ years of cloud computing experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field. Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects. Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g., security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA). Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies. Experience implementing AWS services in diverse distributed computing environments. Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and identifying relationships between business services, information, applications, and global infrastructure assets. Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments. Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments. AWS Professional-level certification or degree in advanced technology. Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape.
