Overview CCSWW’s Family Behavioral Health is a values‑driven organization that provides family‑oriented behavioral health care for children, youth, and families in their homes and communities. We employ nearly 800 employees and offer comprehensive, intensive, wrap‑around mental health services to a diverse population of youth and families. Responsibilities Peer Counselors (Parent Partners) are individuals with personal history as a parent of a youth/child who has received behavioral health, child welfare, complex medical coordination, or juvenile justice services. Peer Counselors collaborate with the Team to provide support and facilitate services for youth and their families. They help parents voice their perspective and assist team members in incorporating that perspective into treatment planning. The goal is to empower families to achieve confidence and hope during their recovery journey. The position requires flexibility to meet the needs of families, with services delivered in community‑based settings and family homes. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Age 21 or older. Personal lived experience as a parent of a child who has received community or mental health services within the past ten years. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and acceptable driving record per CCS policy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to assess safety within family homes and the community. Demonstrated attitudes, knowledge, and skills to provide culturally competent services. Availability pay for coverage after hours: $75.00 per pay period (2 times per month). Additional pay based on performance. Training and Supervision Extensive training (e.g., WISe, De‑escalation).
