In this role you’ll lead the Company’s most complex, technical, and cross‑organizational internal compliance investigations into potential non‑compliance events involving CPUC, FERC, NERC, environmental, privacy, and other regulatory requirements. You will oversee the implementation of the Compliance Incident Management Standard and manage the Potential Significant Noncompliance (PSNC) Program to help ensure these matters are handled effectively and receive the visibility, independence, and timely response they require. This position will have high visibility with SCE and EIX officers, directors, and managers across the company. Responsibilities Develop business requirements, perform gap analysis, and identify strategies for controls and risk mitigation. Facilitate training and ensure effective remediation of potential non‑compliant situations. Support legislative strategy and legislative language development to advance or defend company positions. Conduct audit reviews to ensure the company stays compliant with policies and standards enforced by relevant agencies. Identify significant regulatory challenges and commercial opportunities, for the current and future regulatory environments. Advises and counsels on new consumer products and product structures and compliance with changing regulatory rules and varying political environment. Oversee and implement the organization’s compliance reporting activities. Lead regulatory report submission for the company. Provide guidance to cross‑functional organizations on considering preventative measures on corrective action responses. Ensure protection of all physical, financial, and cybersecurity assets, and properly access and manage private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other highly sensitive information with the highest standards of conduct and integrity. Minimum Qualifications Ten or more years of experience with regulatory filings, proceedings, and compliance standards. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or related field. Project Management certification. Experience in utility operations. Experience managing complex projects or programs across cross‑functional business areas, including T&D, IT, Customer Service, Operational Services, Generation, HR, Ethics & Compliance, and Law. Experience working with local, state, or federal regulatory agencies on policy, advocacy, or compliance matters. Experience conducting compliance investigation and/or internal audits. Experience managing regulatory compliance activities related to NERC. Experience developing integrated project schedules, coordinating multiple initiatives, resolving issues, and delivering timely results. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong influencing skills and organizational savvy. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills, with the ability to develop solutions to complex regulatory and business issues. Experience translating complex technical information to non‑technical audiences. Additional Information This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
