Job Overview
We are seeking an exceptional, compassionate, and reliable Dental Hygienist to join our practice on a permanent part-time basis. This role offers the flexibility to select two workdays per week based on your availability, with typical office hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to provide thorough dental hygiene care using modern equipment and techniques. If you value a less hectic, patient-centered practice, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Perform thorough dental prophylaxis (cleanings) with 1-hour appointment slots.
Conduct scaling and root planing (SRP) procedures with 1.5-hour appointments for 2 quadrants.
Utilize ultrasonic scalers and manual instruments to deliver effective periodontal therapy.
Take and interpret digital radiographs using Dexis technology.
Document patient treatment and maintain accurate records using Dentrix software.
Provide compassionate patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care.
Collaborate closely with the dentist and office team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Maintain infection control and safety protocols in all clinical procedures.

Experience in a general dental practice setting.
Ability to manage full prophylaxis and SRP appointments efficiently.
