We value quality care, dedicating a full hour for adult prophylaxis, thirty minutes for pediatric appointments, and two hours for scaling and root planing.
Job Summary: Hoover Dental is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our established, family-oriented practice in midtown Omaha. We are a busy office with a hygiene schedule filled out over six months in advance.
Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver general and preventive dental hygiene care for patients of all ages. Perform prophylaxis and scaling and root planing treatments using high-end technologies. Educate patients on oral care and maintain precise digital records.
Equipment and Environment: Work with top-tier tools including Cavitron ultrasonic machines, cordless polishers, digital X-rays, intra-oral cameras, and a Trios 5 scanner. Each operatory is equipped with ergonomic stools, HEPA filtration, and upgraded fresh air exchange systems. Adult cleanings are scheduled for one hour, pedo prophies for thirty minutes, and SRPs for two hours.

License: RDH license in NE (or graduating soon) is required.
Education: Associate degree is required.
Software: 1 year of Eaglesoft experience is required.
Other: Candidates should enjoy performing scaling and root planing (SRP).
Experienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years)
Licensed dental hygienist
Experience: 1 year of experience as an RDH is preferred, though new graduates are welcome.
