Ontic's Chatsworth, CA, site specializes in precision engineering, MRO, and new solutions for parts at risk of obsolescence. Our team is looking for a Production Planner II to join us. You will report to the Planning Manager and will have an onsite work structure in Chatsworth, CA.
The Production Planner II is responsible for planning, coordinating, and tracking material requirements to support the production of aircraft products.
This role utilizes the MRP/ERP system to plan, create, and release work orders to the shop floor, ensuring alignment with customer delivery schedules and dependent demand.
The Production Planner monitors inventory levels across both make-to-order and make-to-stock environments, supporting new production activities.
This position works closely with the Master Scheduler and Purchasing team to ensure timely material availability and collaborates cross-functionally to support efficient manufacturing operations and on-time delivery performance.
