Fluent customer service skills and experience working directly with customers Experience handling both cash and accrual accounting Proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks Online: handling bank statements, bank feed connections, reconciling bank accounts, journal entries, and reporting. Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, including general data organization, pivot tables, Index/Match, and ability to learn and combine advanced formulas Understanding of key accounting principles, including revenue, cost of goods sold (COGS), operating expenses (OPEX), assets, liabilities, and equity Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in bank reconciliations, financial statements, and payment processing records. Experience tracking loan balances, allocating principal vs. interest, and maintaining depreciation schedules.
