Stephen J. Tychostup DDS, PLLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Hygienist to join our friendly, non-corporate dental team. This opportunity offers part-time or full-time hours, allowing you to provide exceptional oral care and patient education in a supportive, growing practice. Located in Saratoga Springs, NY, Stephen J. Tychostup DDS, PLLC is a small, patient-focused dental clinic committed to personalized care. Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
Conduct patient assessments and oral health screenings
Take and analyze digital x-rays
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and provide customized care instructions
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic dental software (Open Dental)
Adhere strictly to infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment
Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Basic life support
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Experienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years)
Licensed dental hygienist
Open Dental
Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in New York State
Current CPR and AED certifications
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office setting (not an entry-level role)
Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health conditions, and dental hygiene procedures
Proficiency with electronic dental recordkeeping, preferably Open Dental or similar software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational ability
Compassionate approach to patient care for all age groups
Familiarity with digital radiography technology
Experience in a small or growth-focused dental practice

Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
