Position Summary:

The Operations Technical Trainer is the owner of equipmenttrainingand process training for their assigned departmentandshift, supporting other shifts as needed. This role exists to ensure operators are trained correctly, consistently, and measurably, and that training directly supports safety, quality, and performance outcomes.This position is an on-the-floor role and is accountable for training execution, validation, and effectiveness within their area.This role does not have direct supervisory authority but plays a key role in influencing operator performance and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitates hands-on equipment and process training for operators within the assigned department andshift. Conducts anddocumentsskill assessments and recertifications.
• Serves as the first point of contactfor new hire training within the areaafter orientation.
• Utilizes standardized training formatsto support training, including Standard Operating Procedures(SOP), Job Instructions(JI), andJob Instruction Breakdown(JIB)documents and assessments.Updates standardized documents for accuracy as needed. Utilizes the Training within Industry Job Instructionmethodologyduring instruction.
• Monitorsoperators during normal production to verify process adherence. Provides structured, documented coaching to close performance or knowledge gaps. Supports operators with retraining afterprocessupdates. Supports the rollout ofOne PointLessons byfacilitatingand documenting training.
• Tracks andreportstraining effectiveness using defined metrics (e.g., skillproficiency, error reduction, training completion).
• Validates that documented processes are being trained and executed as designed.Identifiesgaps between standard work and actual practice andpartners with leadership torevise proceduresas needed.
• Collaborateswithcross-functional business partners, including Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Quality,Operations,and Operations Excellence teamsto provide training thatfollows all GMP, GDP, Safety, and Operationalstandards.
• Leads or supports targeted training projects tied to business needs (eg,changeover time reduction, error reduction, etc.).Supports process rollouts and updates through training according to established training plans.Participates in continuous improvement efforts.
• Conducts training classes, tutorials, or help sessions on a group or individual basis.Primarily trains on the production floor, but may perform in a classroom, throughdemonstrations, or through coaching, as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education:

• High School Diplomarequired.

Certification:

• None

Required Qualifications:

• Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing environmentrequired, with at least one to twoyears of experiencein atrainingor supervisory capacity.

PreferredQualifications:

• Threeto five years of experience conductingtechnicaltraining in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience or certification in the TWI Job Instructionmethodology.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent interpersonal skills,includingthe ability to clearly articulate in speech,connect with others, collaborate withand influencecross-functional partners, andhandle disagreements and difficult conversationsin a positive manner.
• Proficiencyindemonstratingtechnical knowledge in a manufacturing environment, delivering instruction, and providing constructive feedback to trainees. Demonstrated ability towork with individuals of different learning preferencesor styles.
• Proficiencyinimpartiallyconducting practical tests,skillchecks, or formal on-the-floor assessments.
• Ability toplan, organize, and executework tasks independentlyaccording to a schedule or list of priorities. Flexibility toadapt to shifting business priorities.
• Ability to provide structured coaching and influence behavior change on the production floor.
• Demonstratedtechnicalknowledge of Pharmavite equipment and processesin the Gummies or Packaging departments.
• Basiccomputer skills,including Cornerstone LMS, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Physical Requirements:

• General manufacturing and warehouseenvironment. May require the abilityto workothershifts asneeded.Ability to moveaboutan office or manufacturing area.

• Exposure to disagreeable elements is moderate.

Safety:

• The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely without endangering their own or others' health or safety.

National Target Base Pay Range: $53,000.00 - $88,000.00

The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and the New York metro, the Target Base Pay Range is $59,000.00 - $98,000.00, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas.

Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment. Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, Medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K match, and other wellness benefits.

Pharmavite provides compensation for all overtime hours worked by non-exempt (hourly) employees in accordance with state and federal law. The need to work overtime hours will be determined by management, based on customer and business necessity to meet the needs of our business, Pharmavite may require employees to work overtime.
