Lake Zurich offers convenient access to outdoor recreation and regional travel. Paulus Park sits on the south shore of Lake Zurich and includes a beach, marina, and walking paths within the village. Deer Grove Forest Preserve is roughly 10 miles south and provides extensive trails, while downtown Chicago is about 40 miles away for museums, sports, and lakefront attractions.
