Maintenance Technician- Electrician

Maintenance Technician- Electrician Type: Maintenance Department: Full-time, 40-hours/week, 12-month position as defined in Classified Labor Agreement. Supervised by Maintenance Director.

Duties: Performs general maintenance work and serves as electrician; performing and conducting all functions relating to the electrician field. See Maintenance Technician Job Description.

Qualifications: High school graduate or GED (must submit copy of diploma/certificate or evidence of current enrollment in GED program with application (incomplete applications will not be considered). Two (2) years' experience/education in building maintenance/construction operations including a minimum of one (1) year as an electrician. Valid Montana driver's license. Good work habits and certain physical abilities including to exert up to 60 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Salary: Hourly rate per Classified scale, Lane 4, $24.42 -- $25.41, DOE. Lane 5 placement requires a current license or 6 months' experience under a licensed professional.

Benefits: Per Classified agreement includes leave, health insurance (currently paid by the District), life insurance and retirement benefits as adopted by the District for classified staff.
