Retirement Planner

Job Description:

• Quickly and effectively deliver conversations with clients regarding Retirement Readiness questions and address needs or concerns
• Work to enroll and retain clients in Advisory Services and refer them to other company teams when appropriate
• Support managed account campaigns through inbound and outbound calls with the goal of educating participants
• Identify, execute and follow up on opportunities to contract additional client assets while providing client retirement planning discussions
• Identify trends and determine proactive solutions to maximize service quality and increase assets under management
• Adhere to compliance and risk procedures and focus on the participant’s best interest
• Document client conversation information pertinent to business and relationship development for follow-up calls
• Act in a dually registered capacity when speaking to Advisory clients and Empower Retail clients
• Enroll participants in the managed account offering in the Empower Retail account

Requirements:

• 2 years’ financial industry experience
• FINRA 7, 63 and 65 (or 66) registrations required
• FINRA fingerprinting required
• Goals and results oriented with high level of accountability to produce positive results tied to retention, assets under management and participant growth
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience
• Fully licensed candidates are preferred
• Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) Designation preferred
• Positive attitude, ability to converse with clients, and openness to coaching and feedback
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable, including CPT/OPT
• Must be available Monday–Friday during the applicable Eastern, Central, or Mountain Time schedule
• For remote work, reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection, fiber, cable, or DSL internet, and a home workspace with limited disruption are required
