Job Title Medical Science Liaison, Immunology – Admilparant Location Field – Virginia (Field territory coverage required, 50 miles radius) Overview The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is the trusted scientific partner for both internal stakeholders and external healthcare professionals. The role drives medical education, scientific exchange, insight generation, and facilitates research to advance patient access to Bristol Myers Squibb medicines. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with academic and community research thought leaders, key healthcare providers, and access stakeholders within the assigned geography. Use multiple interaction channels (1:1, group presentations, remote) to present scientific information and address unsolicited product, medical, and health‑economics‑outcomes‑research questions. Ensure medical accuracy and regulatory compliance in all communications with external stakeholders. Continuously update knowledge on disease‑state strategies, clinical trials, unmet needs, and competitive landscape. Identify partnership opportunities with healthcare providers for disease‑state initiatives, collaborative research, and investigator‑sponsored research aligned with BMS objectives. Attend medical congresses and local/regional meetings; report insights back to medical and commercial teams. Contribute to the National Field Medical and Thought Leader Interaction plans and cross‑functional institutional/account plans. Provide scientific support at promotional meetings, evaluate speakers, and assist BMS‑contracted speakers. Support clinical trial activities, including site feasibility assessment, investigator engagement, and regulatory compliance during interventional and non‑interventional studies. Participate in independent and organization‑sponsored clinical studies, ensuring timely communication of safety and efficacy data to investigators. Qualifications Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or equivalent in a relevant scientific field. MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, or NP with significant experience in a specific disease area or broad pharmaceutical background. Strong understanding of scientific publications, competitive landscape, patient treatment trends, clinical trial design and processes, national healthcare environment, and HEOR core concepts. Excellent written and oral English communication and presentation skills. Prior MSL or related pharmaceutical/clinical experience preferred. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross‑functional teams. Proficient at translating scientific data into actionable insights for healthcare professionals. Must possess a high level of ethics, integrity, and a safe driving history to operate a company‑provided vehicle. Licensed to drive a vehicle; ability to drive across large distances between locations within the territory. Travel & Territory Extensive travel required. MSL must maintain residence within or within 50 miles of the territory boundaries and be able to travel at a minimum of 75% of their time in the field to meet with external customers. Compensation Overview Field – United States – US: $166,090 – $201,262 (based on experience). Incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available in addition to the base range. Final compensation will be determined at hiring based on demonstrated experience and qualifications.
