Weatherly Inn is a family-owned senior living community known for excellence in memory care and resident-centered support. We work closely with families to provide compassionate high-quality care in a warm professional environment.
Weatherly Inn is seeking an experienced PM Cook who can work Saturday - Wednesday (11:00 AM - 7:00 PM)to support our senior living community by preparing and serving nutritious high-quality evening meals. This role plays a key part in resident satisfaction food safety and kitchen operations.
Prepare and serve evening meals following approved menus and recipes
Assist with preparation and service of the noon meal as needed
Assisting with dinner service
Ensure proper food presentation portioning and temperature control
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen coolers and freezers
Label store and rotate food to minimize waste
Record refrigerator and freezer temperatures
Prepare soups sauces meats vegetables and baked goods
Supply PM snacks to the Wellness Center
Assist with food ordering and inventory as backup to the Director
Close kitchen safely at end of shift
High School Diploma or GED required
3 years cooking experience (healthcare senior living or similar preferred)
Food Handler Permit (within 14 days of hire)
ServSafe certification required
Strong multitasking leadership and food safety skills
Lift up to 50 lbs; stand walk bend and reach throughout shift
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
