A professional multi-skilled person dedicated to assisting in all aspects of medical practice including administrative and clinical procedures under the direct supervision and responsibility of a licensed physician and Office Manager or Team Lead. This person may be required to travel to other UF Health Heart and Vascular clinics to provide coverage.
Responsibilities include receiving and directing messages, maintaining patient scheduling functions, interviewing and completing the registration process for patients, keying patient dispositions, diagnostic codes, patient orders, charges and payments, performing routine clerical duties, administering medication, performing basic laboratory procedures, and providing excellent customer service for patients/families/representatives and other members of the treatment team.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, minimum education and experience requirements, necessary skills, preferred experience, and licensure/certification/registration.
