Job Description The Supply Auditor conducts internal audits IAW ISO 9001:2015 in the Supply and Services Department that includes the SSA, SSMO, ASP, CIF and IPBO operations. The Auditor understands and applies ISO concepts, principles, and requirements, and may also conduct audits and provide assistance in other functional departments. Plans and completes work independently, performs analysis, determines scope and courses of action, and develops plans to resolve supply‑related problems. Monitors and ensures timely resolution of problems. Reviews procedures, work instructions and other documents to enhance supply functions. Provides subject‑matter expertise and advice in all supply‑related functions. Responsibilities Applies knowledge in automated information systems (AIS) related to supply (G‑Army AIMS, ISMS, AFMIS, and other systems as required). Uses DoD Publications, Army Regulations, Army Pamphlets, FAR, Technical Manuals, Performance Work Statements and other written publications to perform audits and duties. Evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of the Quality Management System IAW ISO 9001:2015 requirements and standards. Conducts internal audits IAW ISO 9001:2015 and evaluates the Supply Department’s performance based on ISO, statutory, regulatory, PWS and QMS requirements. Develops and updates internal audit checklists, evaluates findings, prepares and submits audit reports, and assists with follow‑up, preventive and corrective actions. Evaluates, investigates and tracks government evaluations and findings, ensuring timely response. Conducts analysis and reviews problems to determine if issues are human error or systemic, developing and recommending corrective actions. Identifies areas for improvement, initiates and monitors Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs) IAW applicable procedures. Initiates, monitors and assists with resolving Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and Preventive Action Requests (PARs) IAW applicable procedures. Conducts process and product measurements and analysis IAW ISO 9001:2015, collecting, evaluating and analyzing data to determine performance trends. Provides input, develops and updates presentation slides, and participates in Quality Reviews, Management Reviews, Process Improvement Teams and other events as directed. Uses technical writing skills to prepare reports, technical papers, procedures, work instructions and other documents as directed. Evaluates customer comments and assists with resolution of customer complaints, assessing overall customer satisfaction. Develops training plans and related programs to enhance operations, and conducts training when required. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Formal civilian or military training in supply operations and management desirable; on‑the‑job experience may substitute. ISO 9001:2015 training highly desired. Minimum of three years’ experience including professional management, investigative and technical skills, demonstrating sound judgment and analytical ability. Knowledge and experience with analysis of supply functions, storage area operations, ammunition supply point operations, item classification and related AISs very desirable. Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 highly preferred. Physical Demands & Work Environment Work is generally conducted in an office environment but may involve warehouse or outdoors exposure to extreme climatic conditions. Duties may require lifting up to 50 lbs, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing and sitting.
