We’re looking for full‑time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one or more of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Bessemer, AL area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Assistant Managers enforce established policies, procedures and standards, schedule mechanics/technicians’ work, manage outside orders, ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs, meet customer expectations and maintain team safety. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. The manager directs the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians and tire technicians, stages vehicle repair/maintenance work and drives sales initiatives. Service Managers communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide information regarding required repairs and maintenance, ensure customer satisfaction and strive to meet expectations.
