Job Description
The purpose of this position is to provide clerical assistance to the Bookstore Manager in the day-to-day operations of the campus bookstore; provide service and assistance to bookstore customers; and monitor returns and billing invoices for materials ordered and returned. Duties and Responsibilities Receive cash checks and credit card receipts; post transactions. Pack unpack and ship books & merchandise. Monitor regular inventories and perform annual inventory. Assist with ordering materials and supplies. Unpack stock and organize storerooms and displays with merchandise. Serve as backup to Shipping and Receiving Clerk and Coffee spot Use excellent communication and human relation skills. Use database applications to create and manage files and communicate requested information maintaining confidentiality. This is a Full-time grade 3 support position working 40 hours per week Monday Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hourly wage of $17.97. Benefits include paid vacation sick leave and holidays; retirement and tuition waiver.

Required Qualifications
High School diploma or HSED . Related work experience. Must have the ability to lift 60 lbs. and stand for 8 hours a day. Post-secondary education a plus. National Career Readiness Certificate a plus.
