Summary of Position The Regional Business Director will lead and develop a team of Account Managers. Core responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, training, implementing business plans, promoting products and handling administrative duties for a specified region. The role collaborates cross‑functionally with Marketing, Payor and Reimbursement team, Area Business Managers, Customer Service, Medical Affairs, Legal and other stakeholders to ensure achievement of regional goals. This position also involves participation in local, regional or national medical meetings in Oncology, Gastroenterology, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and related areas to build long‑term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and influential decision‑makers in hospitals, cancer centres and physician offices. Essential Functions Effectively recruit, hire, train and develop a team of hospital account managers. Develop and execute a regional business plan. Launch new products to achieve or exceed sales targets. Successfully add new Curium products to assigned hospital formularies. Train, develop, and mentor teams in account management and selling skills. Coach account managers to achieve goals through individual and collaborative activities. Spend 70%–80% of time working in the field, engaging one‑on‑one with sales representatives and customers. Work with the team to develop relationships with Oncology, Gastroenterology, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine KOLs and advocacy groups. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet or exceed customer needs. Continuously assess and evaluate sales performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to meet business objectives. Adhere to company financial, administrative, ethical and policy guidelines. Maintain operational compliance with US and international regulatory agencies and guidelines (e.g. FDA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC/S, ISO, USP, NRC, cGMP). Requirements Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or MBA preferred. 10 or more years of relevant experience with 5 years of leadership experience preferred. Experience leading academic medical centre, hospital, oncology, or specialty pharmaceutical teams preferred. Proven success selling into large hospitals and IDNs; strong institutional awareness and stakeholder mapping, with a history of attaining top‑tier awards. Demonstrated ability to secure P&T/formulary placement and drive utilization across institutions/IDNs. Track record of launching new products preferred, as is oncology and rare disease experience. Successful hiring and development of high‑performing field teams, holding the team accountable while influencing and motivating others. Experience operating in partnership and collaboration with other stakeholders, acting with urgency in ambiguous conditions. Strong negotiation, time‑management, analytical and problem‑solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication. Demonstrated ethical behavior and adherence to all compliance standards. Valid driver’s licence and residence in‑territory. Proficiency with CRM and business tools. Willingness to travel in support of the customer base and business objectives. Working Conditions Field‑based leadership position with frequent travel, including some weekends, within an assigned region. Willingness to travel approximately 70%, including overnight travel.
