Job Description

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Summary of Role:

Shift Details: Monday- Thursday 6am-4pm, Friday half-day CDT

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers customer product availability by coordinating assigned deliveries, replenishment activities, and inventory movement across customer locations.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy by recording transactions, updating inventory control systems, and reconciling routine variances at customer sites.
  • Stocks and organizes products at designated locations to support accessibility, continuity of supply, and customer operational needs.
  • Coordinates with internal stakeholders and customer contacts to communicate delivery status, inventory needs, and routine service issues.
  • Drives customer use of inventory-related tools and processes by providing basic guidance, responding to routine questions, and escalating issues when needed.
  • Monitors product levels, usage patterns, and site conditions to identify replenishment needs, service risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintains transportation, handling, and service documentation to support operational compliance, shipment accuracy, and customer record completeness.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, logistics, agriculture, animal science, operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer support, product delivery, inventory control, logistics operations, field service, agriculture operations, or a related field required.
  • Certification in inventory management, logistics operations, or commercial vehicle operation preferred.

  • Builds effective working relationships that support coordination, service continuity, and issue resolution.
  • Maintains focus on customer needs and responds to routine requests and changes in a timely manner.
  • Collaborates with others to support shared priorities, operational activities, and service requirements.
  • Adapts to changing schedules, customer demands, and day-to-day operational conditions.
  • Applies sound reasoning and judgment to identify issues, evaluate information, and support appropriate action.
  • Plans and prioritizes work to support efficient use of time, resources, and delivery schedules.
  • Uses basic reading, mathematical, and system navigation skills to support inventory, documentation, and order-related activities.
  • Maintains attention to detail in handling products, updating records, and completing operational tasks.
  • Demonstrates hand-eye coordination and physical ability to stand, walk, lift, move, and handle products safely in a delivery and inventory environment.
  • Maintains awareness of health, safety, and workplace conditions and reports concerns when identified.
