Responsibilities Prepare and record all monthly accruals, including accounts payable accruals, credit card payables, and other recurring and non-recurring expenses (e.g., BODs, SRBC, utilities, promotional, salary, legal, and audit accruals). Maintain and reconcile accrued expenses and related balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Record and reconcile deferred financing fees, debt schedules, and lease liabilities in accordance with GAAP and ASC842. Prepare and manage the company’s weekly sales forecast, incorporating budget and forecasts based on current production schedules. Prepare and manage the company’s cash forecast, incorporating short-term obligations and projected inflows/outflows. Assist in preparation of the company’s annual budget. Post weekly payroll entries and reconcile payroll-related accounts. Maintain goodwill schedules and support periodic impairment assessments. Manage all prepaid accounts, including supplies, real estate taxes, workers’ compensation, and insurance; ensure timely amortization and reporting. Prepare and distribute daily leadership reporting with key financial and operational metrics. Assist with preparation and filing of licenses, bonds, and state & TTB requirements. Assist with preparation and filing of annual 1099s and other year-end reporting requirements. Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, providing requested documentation and analyses. Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and internal control compliance. Other projects as assigned. Qualifications Must have a strong understanding of accounting theory and be highly detail oriented and organized. The ability to meet deadlines and communicate support needs based on time requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on both internal and external customer service. Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Excel. Ability and desire to own and improve upon forecasting, expense analysis, and reporting processes within the organization. Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing or public accounting. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts and procedures manuals. Ability to speak effectively to all internal and external customers.
