Job Title: EHS Administrator Location: Lockport, NY (Potential travel to Ohio and Massachusetts sites) Employment Type: 6 Month Contract Industry: Semiconductor/Industrial and Medical Product Compensation: $44/hour Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 20 hours/week About the Opportunity: Assisting in executing and facilitating the environmental health and safety program portfolio with the goal of eliminating injuries and incidents, preventing property loss, and minimizing impact to human health and the environment. Responsible for ensuring employee awareness of programs, training, and overall compliance. What You'll Do: Assist in planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining occupational health, safety, and environmental programs. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, and standards through implementation of safety control measures. Perform and review hazard assessments including job hazard assessments and audits with business leaders and prepare comprehensive recommendations for corrective action to eliminate or minimize potential hazards. Assist business partners with reporting incidents and near misses. Participate in incident investigations and recommend corrective actions. Steward and facilitate emergency action plans. Utilize EHS data management system (Velocity EHS) for collecting incident, hazard, inspection, chemical SDS and sustainability data. Support procedure writing for Corporate EHS management system (ISO14001 and ISO45001) What You'll Bring: Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in related fields such as industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and chemical engineering. Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing or R&D engineering labs desired.
