Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Development will manage the strategy and roadmap for Zocdoc's design system and accessible React component library, driving adoption and enhancing frontend and mobile development in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Oversee the engineering team focused on design systems and accessible component libraries Drive accessibility initiatives across web and mobile platforms, establishing consistent development standards Collaborate with UX, Product, and Engineering to enhance the scalability and responsiveness of the component library Required qualifications 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development (iOS or Android) 2+ years of experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams Proven experience in building or contributing to a design system or shared component library Demonstrated ability to integrate generative AI tools into engineering workflows Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
