Pay Range:$41.30 Hourly depending on experience
Schedule: : 2nd shift from 1:30pm to 10:00pm. Occasional weekends required
The Production Electrician is responsible for troubleshooting electrical issues repairing replacing and maintaining the electrical wiring and circuits on assets in the production facility by responding promptly to equipment breakdowns and repairing the machinerys electrical components in a timely manner. The Production Electrician also serves as the on-site subject matter expert for electrical matters performs planned and unscheduled work and provides advice and training to new personnel including Mechanic I level and Mechanic II level employees.
Duties & Responsibilities
Repair replace and maintain electrical wiring and circuits on assets in the production facility in a timely manner
Troubleshoots equipment for electrical issues to prevent malfunctions and or identify opportunities for improvements
Programs electrical and electronic equipment and handles the installation maintenance and repairs for electrical controls wiring and lighting systems
Participates in the installation of new or modified assets and ensures optimal functionality of electrical components
Maintains electrical drawings (paper or electronic)
May perform other duties as assigned
