This position will work on site full time and directly support assigned DOE-SR Mission Program management team in general technical/project accounting, project analysis and program analysis to ensure compliance budget controls, interpret contractor performance, financial risk and current cost control database, and document reviews and applied controls. Support functions include, but limited to, cost engineering functions involving budget preparation, cost control, forecasting and cost reporting, and developing and updating cost and resource loaded project/program schedules. Provide routine and specialized projects and financial/budget forecast reports to various departments. Advises the DOE-SR Mission Program management team and SKLS Program Manager on numerous matters, including program/project performance and budget forecast issues.
Responsibilities:
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering/engineering technology, business administration with emphasis in project management. Advanced degrees, MS are desirable.
Experience: DOE Environmental Management Operations work experience of at least 10 years, highly preferred. Working knowledge and understanding of DOE 413.3B is required. Working knowledge and understanding of Earned Value Management methodology and principles is required.
License, Cert or Registration: Ability to obtain security clearance enabling access to various government facilities. You must be a US Citizen to be considered for this position. Project Management Professional Certification, preferred. AACE International Cost and/or Risk Professional Certification, preferred.
