Program Manager - Clinical Campus-Based Services

Compass Rose Harvest (Grades 4 -10)

Location: In-person / Campus-Based

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Reports to: Program Director, Campus-Based Services

Supervises: May supervise AmeriCorps members, repositioned staff, interns, and/or volunteers

Starting Salary: $4,000 / month ($48,000 / annual) (contingent on experience)

Position Summary CIS of Central Texas is currently seeking a full-time Clinical Program Manager to lead CIS services in the Compass Rose Harvest (Grades 4 10), located in Bastrop, TX. As the site-based leader, the Program Manager regularly interfaces with school administrators and personnel and is responsible for integrating CIS programming with school-wide activities to empower young people to set and meet goals, provide parent engagement, and support, and help every student meet their full potential

This position provides a comprehensive array of clinical services while maintaining all the responsibilities and essential functions of the Program Manager position. The Program Manager is a key position at CIS and is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and facilitating CIS activities and programs on designated public-school campuses in the Austin/Central Texas area to support both academic and non-academic barriers to student success; these can include supports to a student's parents and family.

As the site-based leader of CIS programs, the Program Manager regularly interfaces with school administrators and personnel and is responsible for integrating CIS programming with school activities. The Program Manager also provides leadership and support for CIS staff, AmeriCorps members, interns, and volunteers who may be assigned to the campus.

What You'll Do

Program Administration Program Design and Support: Conduct needs assessments and use these to inform program design and to help identify appropriate resources Campus Management: Maintain positive relationships with campus personnel, market the program appropriately and establish the student referral processes Data Management and Program Evaluation: Implement effective data management systems which will be used for evaluating program effectiveness and implementing efficient administrative systems on campus

Campus Team Management Hiring, Onboarding & Training: Coordinate the hiring of team members, provide orientation and training and establish goals and expectations for the team and individual team members Professional Development: Work with team members to develop a professional development plan Team Supervision & Evaluation: Provide ongoing supervision and support to individual team members and conduct new staff reviews and annual evaluations Leading Team Culture: Communicate relevant information including agency and school policies/procedures/practices to the team and promote and maintain agency culture/standards/systems

Student Services Counseling & Facilitation: Provide individual counseling to students, facilitate groups and practice crisis management as needed Parental Engagement: Conduct outreach to parents and develop parental involvement as needed Case Management: Perform case management and participate in the CIS team approach to service delivery

Campus and Community Relationships Represent CIS: Represent CIS at school and community meetings and events and make presentations where appropriate Event Management: Organize and coordinate school and community events and advocate for the program. Host "open houses" or other events for personnel/teachers/parents, and communicate information and activities using appropriate avenues

Additional Responsibilities The Program Manager will also perform other activities and duties as directed by the Program Director, Sr. Program Director, Regional Directors of Programs, or Chief Executive Officer.

What You Bring

  • Middle and High School Experience
  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, human services, or related field; MSW degree required
  • Minimum of Licensed Master's Social Work (LMSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor Intern (LPC-A) required
  • Demonstrated English/Spanish speaking skills, highly preferred
  • Experience with crisis intervention, assessments, and referrals
  • Group counseling and supportive guidance
  • Case Management experience
  • Experience working with appropriate school-age youth and vulnerable populations
  • Experience working with parents/guardians and families
  • Experience providing individual supportive guidance and case management services
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive and productive relationships to effectively collaborate with CIS staff, school personnel, community partners, students and
  • families, team members, and volunteers.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on strength-based leadership
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills Access to reliable transportation
