The Vehicle Maintenance I is responsible for the operation, repair, maintenance, and installation of various machines and equipment. Job responsibilities include inspecting, maintaining, and changing cylinders on various gases, repairing valves, traps, separators, strainers, and plumbing devices, performing cutting and threading of pipes, sweating of copper tubing, and other types of plumbing connections, performing general carpentry and construction duties, making repairs to furniture, doors, cabinets, windows, screens, etc., responsible for performing minor electrical work, maintaining the dishwasher, steam kettles, and various gas appliances, adhering to all Aramark appearance standards and maintaining a professional dress at all times while working, maintaining critical inventory needed to keep operations running, completing preventative maintenance as scheduled and recording the same, maintaining friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients and co-workers, and maintaining knowledge of all equipment and related skills.
Previous experience in Vehicle Maintenance or in a related role required. Demonstrates excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrates organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
