The California Lottery is looking for a strategic Distribution Analyst (Analyst II) to join our energetic sales team to help California become the #1 Lottery in the United States. Under the direction of the Manager II of Sales Support & Distribution (SS&D), the Distribution Analyst (Analyst II) is responsible for a variety of analytical and development assignments associated with SS&D's product distribution and contracts. In Fiscal year 2025-26, the California Lottery generated sales of approximately $9.1 billion with over $1.9 billion earned for California public schools. Lottery products are sold at more than 23,000 retail locations throughout the state including independent neighborhood shops, convenience stores, liquor stores, supermarkets and more. Travel: Travel will be required, as needed, generally not more than two weeks per year. c. Other: Position will be required to work out of Lottery or vendor facilities and attend in-person meetings. Desirable Qualifications Experience with strategic budget planning and budget tracking. Experience working on a project team. Experience preparing competitive bids for contracted services. Experience managing and documenting contract performance based on internal controls and key performance indicators. Experience organizing and analyzing complex datasets. Experience analyzing complex programs and/or contracts. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) Experience conducting research and analytical review.
