Job description

About the Role

Clem’s Station is hiring a part-time Bartender / Server for team in Talmadge. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming guest experience, balancing bar and floor service responsibilities, and working efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Compensation: Compensation for this part-time role is $17.75 per hour USD plus tips.

Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes, standards, and responsible service practices.
  2. Take food and drink orders, enter them accurately, and deliver items promptly while providing attentive table service.
  3. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar and service area throughout each shift.
  4. Process guest payments accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and reconcile tabs as needed.
  5. Check guest identification and monitor alcohol service to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and policies.
  6. Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

  1. Previous experience in bartending, serving, or a similar hospitality role.
  2. Strong customer service and communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
  3. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy restaurant or bar setting.
  4. Comfort handling cash, point-of-sale systems, and guest transactions accurately.
  5. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry service-related items as needed.
  6. Availability to work part-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience performing both bartender and server duties in the same role.
  2. Knowledge of common cocktails, beer, wine, and food pairing recommendations.
  3. Familiarity with responsible alcohol service standards and local compliance requirements.
  4. Experience working in high-volume or fast-paced hospitality environments.
  5. A proactive, team-oriented approach and willingness to assist wherever needed.
