Transportation Coordinator (Driver)

Schedule: Full-Time Monday- Friday 8 am- 4:30 pm

The Transportation Coordinator (Driver) plays a critical role in delivering a structured reliable and resident-focused transportation program within the community. This role extends beyond driving to include transportation coordination scheduling resident communication and operational support.

In this position your main responsibilities will include:

• Provides transportation services during scheduled work hours including but not limited to coverage of designated medical transportation days (Tuesday and Thursday).
• Safely operate community vehicles to provide medical recreational and personal transportation to
• Enter and manage transportation requests in our digital transportation management system ensuring schedules are accurate and aligned with community transportation guidelines and availability.
• Maintain vehicle readiness by completing routine inspections and ensuring vehicles are clean fueled and in good working condition.
• Support the Entertainment & Programming team with scheduled outings and events including planning logistics resident participation and adherence to safety protocols and return schedules.
• During non-driving hours provide community support as needed including programming interdepartmental support and other operational tasks maintaining consistent productivity throughout scheduled work hours.
• Enter and manage transportation requests in our digital transportation management system ensuring schedules are accurate and aligned with community transportation guidelines and availability.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this position we believe that you will need the following experiences strengths and skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a minimum of 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• Must have a valid state Drivers License (Class E in Missouri) and Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles buses and mobility lift systems while assisting residents with mobility needs.
• Previous experience with older adults transportation or coordination preferred.
