Senior Logistics & Procurement Analyst

Fastly's Supply Chain and Logistics team is looking for a highly experienced Senior Logistics & Procurement professional to support the global sourcing, procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations that enable CDN, network, and datacenter infrastructure deployments. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, coordinating global shipments, ensuring inventory availability, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to support critical infrastructure initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in procurement operations, purchase order management, invoice review and reconciliation, vendor negotiations, international logistics, and supply chain coordination. This individual will partner closely with Engineering, Capacity Planning, Finance, Accounting, and Datacenter Operations teams to ensure hardware and services are delivered on time, costs are controlled, and infrastructure deployment schedules remain on track.

Success in this role requires strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, financial analysis capabilities, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment while driving operational excellence across procurement and logistics functions.

  • Oversee end-to-end procurement and logistics processes, including RFQs, purchase orders, supplier onboarding, transportation, customs compliance, inventory management, and deployment readiness.
  • Review and approve purchase orders and supplier invoices, partnering with Finance and Accounting to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and timely payment processing.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives through supplier optimization, freight management, process improvements, and operational efficiencies while monitoring supplier performance and inventory health.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Infrastructure Acquisition Managers, Datacenter Operations, Finance, and project teams to mitigate supply chain risks and support global infrastructure expansion.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or infrastructure operations, preferably supporting datacenter, network, or technology environments.
  • Strong knowledge of global procurement, supplier management, contract negotiations, logistics operations, inventory management, and international shipping compliance.
  • Experience managing purchase orders, invoice approvals, budgeting, and financial controls, with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across Engineering, Finance, Datacenter Operations, and external suppliers in a fast-paced global environment.

We'll Be Super Impressed If You Have Experience In Any Of These:

  • Supporting procurement and logistics operations for datacenter, network, CDN, cloud, or large-scale infrastructure environments.
  • Managing global hardware deployments, including servers, networking equipment, optics, rack integration, and colocation facilities.
  • Working with ERP, procurement, and inventory management platforms such as Coupa, NetSuite, or similar systems.
  • Driving supply chain optimization initiatives that improve delivery performance, reduce costs, mitigate risk, or enhance operational scalability.
