Job description
Now Hiring: Polisher / Bar Back
Cynthia Restaurant is looking for a detail-oriented, hardworking Polisher / Bar Back to join our bar team. This hybrid role is essential to keeping service running smoothly — from setting up the bar before doors open to running our glass and silver dishpit during the rush.
What You'll Do- Set up and break down the bar for service
- Juice for the bar and prep fruit garnishes
- Prep espresso for bar and service needs
- Run the glass and silver dishpit during service
- Polish and properly store all glassware and silverware
- Return polished items to their correct storage locations, keeping the bar fully stocked and service moving without interruption
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout the shift
- Previous experience in a barback, bussing, or dishpit role preferred, but not required
- Ability to work efficiently and stay calm under the pace of service
- Strong attention to detail, especially with glass and silver polishing
- Comfortable on your feet for extended periods and able to lift/carry bus tubs and racks
- A team player who communicates well with bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff
- Reliable and punctual, with flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Position: Full-time
- Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday
- Pay: $20–$25/hour
