The ideal candidate will have experience performing through-feed and in-feed grinding, reading blueprints, and holding tight tolerances in a manufacturing environment. Hours: 2nd shift 230PM-11PM Days: Monday-Friday Job Requirements: Set up, adjust, and operate centerless grinding machines to produce precision parts. Perform wheel changes, wheel dressing, machine offsets, and routine machine adjustments. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions. Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other precision measuring tools. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards. Troubleshoot and resolve machining or quality issues during production runs. Maintain production records and ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures. Perform preventive maintenance and housekeeping of work areas and equipment. Qualifications 3+ years of centerless grinding setup and operation experience. Experience with through-feed, in-feed, and plunge grinding processes. Ability to hold tight tolerances and maintain surface finish requirements. Proficient with precision measuring instruments. Ability to read blueprints and GD&T preferred. Experience in aerospace, medical device, or precision manufacturing environments is a plus.
