Job description: Job Title: Paralegal / Legal Assistant – Probate or Guardianship Department An established Elder Law Firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our Probate or Guardianship Department. Our firm’s practice areas include litigation, probate, benefits planning, guardianship, fiduciary services, estate planning, corporate law, and real estate. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of these areas. These positions involve regular communication and meetings with clients, attorneys, and colleagues. Primary responsibilities include preparing pleadings and accountings; reviewing and facilitating approval of fiduciary reports; tracking and calendaring court deadlines; reconciling client-provided financial information; completing court filings; scheduling hearings; and collaborating with a team of paralegals to support the overall efficiency and success of the firm. We are seeking a candidate who possesses a Paralegal Certificate or associate’s degree and/or 1–3 years of relevant law office experience. This is a full‑time, in‑office position with flexible scheduling available between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. A background check will be conducted prior to employment.
