Licensed Addiction Counselor (LCAS-A) – Outpatient Treatment | Hickory, NC

New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LCAS-A) to join our outpatient treatment team in Hickory, NC. If you're passionate about helping individuals overcome substance use disorders and want to work alongside experienced physicians, nurses, and behavioral health professionals, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do:
• Complete patient intakes, admissions, transfers, and discharge documentation
• Perform psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling
• Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of direct patient counseling each week
• Educate patients on addiction, recovery, relapse prevention, and healthy coping strategies
• Identify behavioral health and case management needs while coordinating patient care
• Collect urine drug screens and patient identification documentation
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, counselors, and clinic leadership to deliver exceptional patient care
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
• Active North Carolina LCAS-A license required
• Experience in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, or mental health counseling preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
