B&S Integrated Security Systems is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator/Estimator who will focus on customer service, both dealing directly with customers and working on internal process improvements. We service and install specialty security doors, access control systems, master key systems, commercial and residential intrusion/fire alarm systems, surveillance systems and smart integrated technologies. B&S services customers nationwide but the majority of clients are in the North‑East/New England area. This is a full-time position with potential for growth. The role will be focused on the customer experience by ensuring responsibilities and commitments are kept, projects start and finish according to plan, customer communication is maintained and that the business continually develops processes and tools to ensure customer satisfaction. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to estimate and coordinate various projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing project cost estimates and tracking actual costs against estimates, project implementation, ensuring quality management, and driving change management initiatives. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with cross‑functional teams to achieve project goals. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned projects, developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Carefully prepare accurate project cost estimates Manage project details such as material procurement and resource scheduling. Work effectively with Divisional Managers ensuring commitments are met. Understand customer needs and objectives, then assist with translating them into project requirements and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resources needed to ensure successful completion of projects. Manage day‑to‑day project activities, monitoring progress and performance against project plans, and taking corrective action when necessary. Proactively identify risks and issues that could impact project success, developing mitigation plans to address them. Serve as a liaison between customers and internal departments, coordinating efforts to resolve issues and meet customer expectations. Monitor customer satisfaction levels throughout the project lifecycle, taking action to address any concerns. Conduct post‑project reviews to document lessons learned and identify opportunities for improvement. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends and developments. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements 2+ years’ experience in customer service, project management, estimating, or related field. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines. Ability to think critically and manage details. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
